Installing ruby to creating a jekyll project

Here I am using Linux Mint, with the following command:
Open terminal, login to root account (#) first. Then follow me the following command:
$ apt install ruby
$ apt install ruby-dev
$ ruby -v
$ gem update –system
$ apt install gcc rubygems
$ gem install compass
$ gem install jekyll
Ruby simple code example
def print_hi(name)
puts "my name is , #{name}"
end
print_hi('moeclay')
#=> prints 'my name is , moeclay' to STDOUT.
Save and Run
Save the script above with the name app.rb,
$ ruby app.rb
my name is , moeclay
author : doctor. moeclay
